WHAT IS THE MAKER'S TABLE?

The Maker's Table is a temporary demonstration space in the Galena Spoon Co. retail store located at 305 South Main Street in the heart of historic downtown Galena, IL. The Maker's Table gives visitors to Galena Spoon Co. a chance to observe your creative process, ask questions, and purchase your items if available for sale. Our small intimate retail space can accommodate one Maker at a time. Reserve the Maker's Table for a few hours, the full day, or an entire weekend.

THE BEST FIT?

Given our roots as a shop best know for handcrafted woodenware, our customer base seems to respond best to Artist and Makers who focus primarily on specialized craft and/or functional art disciplines; prioritizing the final product and focusing on technique, aesthetic experience, and materiality over complex messaging or conceptual meaning. We hope to inspire customers to go home and make something in the ktichen or the craft room. We often say… “meet the Artist, and discover the Artist in you!”

There's no rental fee, but Galena Spoon Co. will retain a small commission on all in-store sales. Galena Spoon Co. will cover credit card processing fees and pay necessary sales tax. Due to the small store footprint, some set-up restrictions apply.
